Tiger Pack Cupboards Need Help

High Demand, Low Inventory

The Tiger Pack Program has set up a permanent after-hours donation box so those interested in helping can donate at any time. The box is set up at the office of Terri Johnson, CPA, located at 515 Blair Street, across from TK's.

Recently I wrote about the Hollidaysburg Tiger Pack Program, and how the group expanded this school year to include both Hollidaysburg Area junior high and high school. Every Friday, the Hollidaysburg School District fills more than 200 backpacks for children who may not otherwise have meals over the weekend. The Tiger Pack Program is hosting a food drive to replenish the stock. The food drive will continue until Oct. 11 at the Blair Street location and end with a final drop-off on Oct. 12 during the annual Pumpkinfest from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
