PUBLIC NOTIC: Eligibility Survey Underway for Bedford Street Drainage (Gaysport Area) Street and Sidewalk Improvements

The County of Blair is assisting Hollidaysburg Borough conduct several surveys thorough out the Borough in anticipation of identifying potential project areas for use of their Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds.
The first survey will be located in the Bedford Street/Gaysport neighborhood to address nuisance flooding and drainage ditch improvements needed. The remaining surveys will be located (generally) in portions of Wards #03, #04 and #07 to address potential street and sidewalk improvements.
The County of Blair must conduct a survey to gather essential demographic information to support the use of CDBG funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
In order to certify eligibility, a 100% response rate is needed from area residents. Residents that receive a survey are asked to complete as accurately as possible and return the survey in its entirety in the provided postage paid envelope. Be advised surveys not returned shall have survey staff follow-up in person.
