Borough Cancels Downtown Live and Pumpkin Fest Due to COVID-19 Restrictions

The Hollidaysburg Borough Council held its regular meeting on Aug. 13 by teleconference. A closed-door executive session by the council pushed back the start of the meeting by 30 minutes.
Borough manager Jim Gehret reported that the council will reschedule the "conditional use" meeting before the next council meeting. Manager Gehret also reported that the borough was slightly behind on earned income revenue collected to this point in the year, but there was no reason to be concerned right now.
