Borough Council Thanks Pope for 'Job Well Done'

Watchdog group raises concerns to council

The September Hollidaysburg Borough Council meeting was held by teleconference from the Hollidaysburg Municipal Building.

The meeting was highlighted by the announcement of the resignation of Katrina Pope as borough director of Community Relations and Events. Pope will be leaving to assume a position in the Centre County Recycling Program. Borough Manager Jim Gehret and Mayor Joe Dodson and the rest of the borough council expressed thanks to Pope for "a job well done." Pope reported that the Arts Grant for Pa.
