Strolling the streets of downtown Hollidaysburg at a recent outdoor event, I encountered Melanie Ramsey and Claire Burk from the Allegheny Ukulele Kollective strumming some of their favorite pop, country and folk tunes.

Ramsey commented that they wanted to have more of their members, but currently a lot of people don't feel comfortable being out in public.

During non-COVID times, the Kollective typically meets for several jam sessions, including at The Greenbean Coffee House, on the second Sunday of the month and at The Hollidaysburg Library on the fourth Sunday. According to the organizat...
