School Board Votes to Follow State Recommendations Regarding Coronavirus Cases

The Hollidaysburg School District Board of Directors held its virtual Committee of the Whole/Voting Meeting on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. Superintendent Robert Gildea reviewed the district's health and safety plan and the current state of virtual learning.
Supt. Gildea stated the program is "much improved" from last spring. The school has taken input from parents, students, and teachers to improve. He reported that Blair County has exceeded 600 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents.
