Hollidaysburg Votes to Waive Mechanical Licensing Fees for 2021

The move is intended to help taverns recover from COVID-19 related losses

The Hollidaysburg Borough Council monthly teleconference meeting was held Thursday, March 11, at 7 p.m.

The council tackled new business as Mayor Joe Dodson requested the council to waive Mechanical Licensing fees for 2021, meaning games of chance or skill at bars, taverns and other locations in the borough would have the licensing fees waived for 2021 since they had been negatively financially affected by COVID -19 restrictions.
