Eligibility Survey Underway
Fort Fetter Area – Proposed Justice Street Park Development
Blair Township CDBG Program
The County of Blair is assisting Blair Township conduct a household demographic survey in the Fort Fetter Area of the Township in anticipation of identifying a potential project area for use of their Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds.
The household demographic survey has been mailed to approximately 145 homes. The Township is proposing to develop a public park on an existing vacant parcel it owns located along Justice Street in the Fort Fetter Area of the Township. The household survey has been sent to all residential structures located between Broad Street (US 22) and the Beaverdam Branch river.
In order to certify eligibility, a 100% response rate is needed from area residents. Residents that receive a survey are asked to complete as accurately as possible and return the survey in its entirety in the provided postage paid envelope. Be advised surveys not returned shall have survey staff follow-up in person.
Blair Township Board of Supervisors have scheduled two public informational meetings that will be held at the project site along Justice Street on April 10th at 10:00 a.m. and April 11th at 2:00 p.m. to discuss their plans and to respond to any questions from residents.
